The Mizzou Law Negotiation Competition occurred in Fall of 2021 from September 20th - 21st. Competitors were given a fact pattern detailing a dispute between two parties a day in advance and were assigned one of the two sides to represent in negotiations. The teams of two faced off against another team and negotiated in front of a panel of judges for half an hour with the goal of securing a favorable outcome for their client. I advanced to the semi-finals along with my co-counsel.
